The executive team
Christian Nentwich is co-founder and CEO of Duco. A lifelong technologist with a relentless passion for simplifying complex data using augmented machine learning and AI automation, he launched Duco to help people dealing with mission critical data on a daily basis.
Christian is recognised for building companies with a strong focus on culture and transparency that deliver transformational experiences to customers.
Prior to Duco, he founded Systemwire, which exited to Message Automation and further to Broadridge. He holds a BSc and PhD in Computer Science from University College London and is a winner of its Faculty Medal in Mathematical and Physical Sciences.
We started Duco because we believe that dealing with data at scale requires more intelligent systems. The proliferation of data formats, complexity and volumes are causing big issues in enterprises, who spend billions dealing with the resulting problems. It doesn’t need to be this way.”
Philippe Buron is Duco’s Chief Technology Officer. He is a senior leader; a long term CTO and CIO with a passion for technology-led transformations, culture shift and people growth. His 20+ year career spans investment, retail, private banking and market infrastructure providers (including HSBC, Societe Generale, BNPP, Deutsche Bank and LSE). Philippe has a strong technology engineering background, having worked for leading distributed technology providers earlier in his career. He holds a master’s degree in IT applied to Finance, with honours in Artificial Intelligence, from Paris Dauphine university.
Graham is Duco’s Chief People Officer. A strong believer that creating a great place to work for its people is key to unlocking a company’s potential, Graham has spent 15+ years helping to build high performing, people centric organisations that are rewarding, fair, inclusive and fun. His past roles include regional and global leadership positions at Google, YouTube and tech scale-up, Improbable, as well as early experience in both the investment banking (UBS) and financial services (Deloitte) sectors.
James is Head of Product and Solutions at Duco. His background covers senior leadership roles across operations and technology within major global capital markets organisations such as UBS, Lehman Brothers and Nomura. Most recently, he co-founded a boutique consulting practice that specialised in helping financial institutions overcome complexity across their middle and back offices. James has a strong track record of operating model transformation, helping organisations successfully deliver on M&A strategies, regulatory compliance and large scale automation programmes. He holds a Bsc in Applied Economics from the University of Plymouth, alongside an MBA from Henley Management College.
Danielle is Duco’s Chief Financial Officer. Danielle has held numerous senior leadership finance roles, largely across financial services bringing experience from industries including Inter-dealer broking, investment banking, and insurance. Danielle has a track-record of leading financial strategies, delivering significant transformation programmes and managing M&A financials for both acquisition and divestment, including the delivery of the TPICAP integration/separation. Danielle holds a BA in Accounting & Finance from Nottingham Trent University.
Chris is Duco’s Chief Revenue Officer. He is an experienced CRO and Head of Sales, delivering great results across sales, pre-sales, customer success and professional services. Chris joined Duco from Nasdaq, where he worked for over five years, holding various head of sales and CRO roles within their Corporate Solutions and Governance Solutions businesses. Prior to Nasdaq, Chris spent five years leading global capital markets sales & customer success through rapid growth at GfK, one of the world's largest consumer goods research firms. In addition, Chris has held various buy-side sales roles and has private equity deal origination experience. He has a B.S. in Economics from the University of West Georgia.
The senior leadership team
Rasa leads the EMEA Sales team. Based in London, Rasa leverages her 15+ years of experience as a senior sales and business development executive at CME Group, PIMCO and TP ICAP. Rasa focuses on accelerating growth by blending traditional sales tactics and digital marketing approach. Rasa brings experience in leading sales, relationship management and marketing teams across the EU, UK and US.
Grace leads Duco’s global Solutions Engineering team. She is responsible for ensuring the business has a best-in-class pre-sales and solutions team to help our customers understand how Duco will add value to their organization. Based in Boston, Massachusetts, she has nearly 10 years of experience with start-up and growing businesses in professional services, customer success, and pre-sales roles. Prior to joining Duco, Grace held implementation roles at financial technology company EZOPS, Inc. Grace spent the earlier parts of her career consulting for global banks.
Rob leads a number of teams within Engineering and oversees the designing, building and running of the infrastructure and software that empowers our users. With 15+ years’ experience across a range of mission-critical industries, he has a track record of building great teams and delivering amazing products. He has a master's in Engineering from Oxford University. Rob likes building things; he has an enviable Lego collection, and once built a kitchen from scratch and no less than five replica tube guitar amplifiers.
Łukasz oversees Duco's Data Automation, Common Apps & Services and Machine Learning domains and was responsible for the delivery of our Data Prep product. He has 15+ years of experience in various IT roles and has a track record of delivering great products which solve users’ problems. Łukasz holds a master's in Engineering from Wrocław University of Technology. Outside of work, he loves to ride a motorcycle and is also passionate about photography.
Carly leads the Global Professional Services team at Duco. She has a proven track record in building diverse, high performing teams that deliver transformative solutions to enterprise customers. Her past roles have included positions at technology firms in product management, implementation, and relationship management. Carly is specialised in project methodology, IT delivery models, process improvement, and artificial intelligence. She holds degrees in Political Science and Foreign Policy, but has instead nurtured a passion for innovative technology solutions and continuous improvement for the past 13 years. Somehow she also found time to become a classically trained chef.
Matt is Duco’s Head of Operations and is responsible for ensuring we’re all doing our bit towards the effective execution of our strategy. Before joining Duco, Matt spent 3 years as a consultant and project leader at BCG, where he worked on a variety of digital and operating model transformation projects across the public and private sectors. Prior to that, Matt worked in several support roles at Metaswitch Networks. Matt holds master’s degrees from both Oxford and Cambridge universities in Physics and Nanotechnology respectively. You can find him in the gym most days after work.
Keith looks after our presence in APAC and is responsible for building out the regional revenue and support functions in Singapore. He has over 13 years' financial services experience in both capital markets operations and financial technology sales. He led the Global Margin Operations function at Standard Chartered Bank, the APAC triResolve sales team at TriOptima (now part of CME Group) and managed operations teams at the Royal Bank of Scotland. Keith holds a BA in Economics and Business from University College London, and spends his time outside of Duco tending to 150+ aroid plants and trick training his two dogs.
Aleksandra leads the Polish entity of Duco. She’s spent 10+ years in the IT sector, holding various regional and global people and process management roles, including building and leading the EMEA Centre of Excellence for IBM Resiliency Services. She holds a master’s degree in Planning and Management of Business Processes from the University of Valencia and is passionate about bringing people together and creating an engaging, inclusive and transparent organisational culture. Aleksandra is a keen traveller and scuba diver, but will happily sit still for a good board game.
Joe is Duco’s Global Head of Customer Success. He’s spent the last 10+ years building teams with a passion for helping customers solve business problems through the use of technology products and services. Prior to joining Duco, he held customer success roles at financial technology companies Novus Partners and Addepar. He gained his financial services knowledge early in his career with roles at JP Morgan and Pinebridge Investments. Joe lives in Denver with his wife, daughter, and puppy.
Jon’s based in New York, where he leads our North American sales team and is responsible for revenue growth within the region. Before Duco, Jon spent time at Finastra and drove their US expansion into the investment management vertical. He’s also worked at TD Bank within the marketing department, and it was here where he developed his passion for business development and creating positive change. During his sales career he has focused on solving mission-critical problems and forming long-term partnerships with his customers. Outside of work you’ll most likely find Jon on the golf course with his two young daughters.
Brendan leads global partnerships at Duco, where he’s responsible for building and strengthening our ecosystem of partners to help drive adoption of our platform. He works with firms including system integrators, complementary financial services technology companies and outsourcers. He’s known for forging productive relationships that drive value for customers. When Brendan isn’t doing this, he loves swimming competitively, which is made much easier since he has webbed toes.
Matthew is Duco's Technical Product Owner. He holds responsibility for the technological development of the platform, supporting expansion of the product offering and delivery of a first class customer experience. Matthew was our first employee and has made contributions throughout Engineering and beyond. Most critically, Matthew manages our Employee of the Month competition and the bad Photoshopping of the winners that entails. Matthew holds a master's in Mathematics and Computing and a PhD in Computing, both from Imperial College London.
Nigel’s responsible for ensuring Duco maintains best-in-class security across our physical and technical estates. He’s also accountable for ensuring continued compliance with our ISO27001 and SOC certifications. He knows a thing or two about security, given that he served a full military career before moving on to various business resilience, disaster management and risk, compliance and information security roles in banking, tech and fintech. Nigel is a firm believer in security by design and educating all about security and privacy. He spends much of his free time reading in the garden, regardless of the weather.
Tatiana is VP of Marketing at Duco, where she leads a team of marketers focused on strengthening the Duco brand in the market and helping grow the business. She oversees branding, communications, analyst and media relations, demand generation, and product marketing. Tatiana has 20 years of experience heading up marketing at successful B2B fintechs, including ION, Sophis, GL Trade/SunGard Global Trading, and DXC Luxoft. She believes that automation positively transforms the lives of people and business - and that life tastes (much) nicer and velvety with a bar of dark chocolate.
Ray leads Duco’s Product Owner function, which is responsible for executing our Product Strategy by designing, building and delivering awesome products to our customers that help them to automate their business operations. Solving complex real-life problems using technology has been Ray’s motivation in his career, which spans different roles for various Fintech firms across APAC and Europe for 15+ years. As well as playing football regularly, Ray likes travelling and recording music with his two energetic kids.

Emil is Principal at Nordic Capital Advisors, who he joined in September 2010. Emil focuses on the Technology & Payments and the Financial Services sectors. He has also been active in Healthcare investments. Emil serves on the boards of four portfolio companies. He holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics. From 2007 to 2010, he worked as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company in Stockholm.
Uwe Weiss is a long-standing entrepreneur and software executive with a passion for disruptive technologies. He was CEO of Blue Yonder, an award-winning SaaS Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence (ML/AI) start-up acquired by JDA. In 2020 the combined companies rebranded to Blue Yonder and Uwe continued to serve as a member of their executive team. With USD 1.1Bn in revenue Blue Yonder was the largest independent AI powered supply chain software company globally when Panasonic Corp acquired the company in 2021 for an enterprise value of USD 8.5Bn. Uwe also co-founded Crossgate AG, a SaaS-based B2B integration service provider, later acquired by SAP SE and had worked for SAP before. He currently serves as a board member of SaaS software companies Matrix42 and Regnology. Uwe now serves as the chairman of Duco’s board.
Spencer lives in London, England and is a Founding Partner of Element Ventures. In addition, Spencer sits on the boards of several FinTech companies including nCino (Nasdaq listed), Nivaura and Duco; the advisory boards of Fenergo and Callsign; and on the boards of Abroad.io, and the National Debt Management Centre of Saudi Arabia. Previously Spencer spent 10 years at HSBC where he was a Group General Manager and Vice Chairman of HSBC’s Global Banking and Markets division, having previously run Debt Origination globally, the Markets Division globally, and then the Global Capital Financing division (wholesale lending and all IB products). Prior to HSBC Spencer was at Merrill Lynch for 17 years in NY, HK and London in various leadership roles in Markets and in Banking. Spencer also remains a senior advisor to ICMA (the International Capital Market Association) which he chaired from 2010 - 2016, and is on the Dean’s Cabinet for Suffolk Univeristy.
Linda Middleditch is a product management and strategy specialist with more than two decades of experience in capital markets technology. She has led teams in senior roles at Itiviti, Bloomberg, Morgan Stanley, Citigroup and UBS. She is a Board Member of Macrobond and was Waters Technology Gender/Equality/Diversity award winner in 2021. She also received the Market Media European Women in Finance Award for excellence in Fintech in 2020.
